Born in Canada. He was trained at the National Ballet School in Toronto. After the graduation he joined the Stuttgart Ballet, where he was promoted to principal dancer in 2003.
Being a universal dancer, he performs the lead roles in very different ballets. The most prominent choreographers of the world, such as John Neumeier, Wayne McGregor, Christian Spuck, Marco Goecke and Kevin O’Day, create roles particularly for him.
Jason Reilly gained international acknowledgement in 2003 after the tour to the USA, where he performed the title role in John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet.
Critics point out at his convincing interpretation of classical roles in combination with his outstanding expression and virtuoso technique in modern ballets.
The organizers of international ballet galas are always pleased to see Jason Reilly among participants.
In 2015 he was awarded with the national title of Kammertänzerin – the highest dance award from the Ministry of Culture of Germany.
