Thank you for your interest in the XVIII season of the International Ballet Festival Dance Open.

Please note that now we offer only two options of buying tickets: buying an electronic ticket through our website (paying by banking card) and in the box office of the festival (paying by cash). In case of appearing new options for buying tickets, the information will be available on our website and in our social media accounts.

The experience of past season shows that from the time ticket sale is open, many resources start to offer tickets for Dance Open festival. We appreciate this promotion of our brand, but still we kindly ask you to take into consideration: only the ticket bought in the official box office or on the official site of the festival will guarantee a seat and spectacle that you have selected. Without any extra charges. We sincerely hope for your understanding.

Buying E-ticket through website: credit card payment

Terms of purchase
    1. When buying online the digital ticket will be send on the email address that was given during the purchase process.
    2. The maximal number of tickets that can be registered on the same name is 4. In case you need to buy more seats, please inform festival organizers by phone +7 (812) 400 03 08 or by email This email address is being protected from spambots. In case more tickets are registered on the same name, the Festival will have the right to cancel the whole purchase and return the total sum of the purchase less 10% of the paying system commission. Please note that the Festival reserves the right to verify the name on tickets with a valid ID at the entrance to the theatre. Please understand these security measures.
    3. We ask you to present a printed e-ticket at the entrance to the theatre.
    4. The ticket is non-refundable or non-exchangeable in case if its holder is late for the performance.
    5. Do not post your e-ticket in social networks as other people could use it instead of you.
    6. We urge you not to buy tickets from unlicensed vendors as in this case the risk of fraud is high. Please keep in mind that the fraudster can print the same e-ticket in an unlimited number of copies and therefore there is no guarantee that your copy is unique!
    7. The Festival representatives have the right to deny the entrance to performance for owners of e-tickets with the same barcode.

Buying paper ticket in the Festival box office: cash payment

Terms of purchase
    1. The address of the Festival Box Office: 12 Zakharievskaya Street, St. Petersburg.
    2. Working hours: 11am to 1pm and 2.30 pm to 7 pm Monday to Friday.
    3. The ticket bought in the box office will be handed over directly to the person buying it.
    4. In case the paper ticket purchased in the box office is damaged or lost, it won’t be possible to receive its copy or the refund for it.
    5. The ticket is non-refundable or non-exchangeable in case if its owner is late for the performance.
    6. We urge you not to buy tickets from unlicensed vendors as in this case the risk of fraud is high.
    7. The Festival representatives have the right to deny the entrance to performance for owners of tickets with the same barcode.

Refund E-ticket through website: credit card payment

Refund Policy
    1. The ticket is non-exchangeable.
    2. The refund may only be made on the same card that was used for the ticket purchase.
    3. The ticket will be returned at its face value less 10% commission if the Festival Team receives the Application Form not later than 10 calendar days before the date of the performance. If the Application is received later, there will be no refund. Thus, in order to make the refund for the ticket on the performance on April, 17 the Application must be received until April, 7 inclusively; on April, 19 — until April, 9 inclusively; on April, 21 — until April, 11 inclusively; on April, 22 — until April, 12 inclusively; on April, 23— until April, 13 inclusively; on April, 25— until April, 15 inclusively; on April 27— until April, 17 inclusively; on April, 29— until April, 19 inclusively.
    4. In order to make the refund, you will need to fill in the Application Form attached, sign and scan it before sending it to the Direction of the Festival at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
    5. The money will return on the banking card during 10 working days from the day the application was received by the Festival.

Refund paper ticket in the Festival box office: cash payment

Refund Policy
    1. The ticket is non-exchangeable.
    2. The ticket is to be returned to the Box Office of the Festival.
    3. The ticket will be returned at its face value less 10% commission if the Festival Team receives the Application Form not later than 10 calendar days before the date of the performance. If the Application is received later, there will be no refund.     5. In order to make the refund you will need to fill in the Application Form at the Box Office of the Festival at 12 Zakharievskaya Street (Mon. to Fri from 11 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 7 pm).
    6. The money can be received in person on the day of the arrival to the Box Office.

  • I can’t find a ticket in my email box – what should I do?

Generally, the ticket should be sent in 2-10 minutes after purchase. If you cannot find a ticket in your Inbox folder, please check your Spam / Junk Folder. If you still can't find your tickets, then maybe you entered incorrect email address.   • I can’t purchase ticket with my credit card

Please check that your credit works for online purchases. Moreover, the festival works only with verified payment platforms, bank card should have 3D secure function. This function offers additional security layer for the transactions you effect in the internet. It looks like this: after entering all required fields, the page of your bank will be opened automatically, and a secret SMS code will be sent to your phone. The payment is made only in case if the password was entered correctly and in time (time limit is always mentioned on the page – usually it takes around 10 minutes).

  • Can I book a ticket?

Yes, you can book a ticket for 2 days maximum by phone 7 (812) 400 03 08 (Mon. to Fri from 11 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 7 pm). There is no booking option on our website.

  • I have purchased ticket and now saw better seats available, how I can exchange my ticket?

Unfortunately, we don’t exchange tickets. You can return old tickets and buy new ones. For more detailed information about refund policy, please click here.

  • Where else I can buy festival tickets?

You can buy tickets only on the official festival website www.danceopen.com, at any time convenient for you, also in the box office located on the 12 Zakharievskaya Street, St. Petersburg (7 minutes' walk from Chernyshevskaya Metro Station). Opening hours: Mon. to Fri from 11 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 7 pm. Please note: the only official ticket channels are our website and box office.

We urge you not to buy tickets from unlicensed vendors as in this case the risk of fraud is high.

  • Is it necessary to print a ticket?

Yes, it is necessary to print ticket. Thus, the control procedure will be faster and you may need printed ticket at the entrance area to your seats.

  • What should I enter in a promo code zone on the ticket purchase page?

This zone should be empty.

  • Can I take a child under 6 years old to a spectacle?

The festival direction doesn’t recommend visiting spectacles for children under the specified age. Parents should take care of the age and development stage of their child and they are responsible for this decision. Children of all ages should have tickets.
