01/02/2012 - DANCE OPEN still has some free places at the master-classes

DANCE OPEN still has some free places at the master-classes which will take place on 11-17 April, 2012. The master-classes with the leading Russian and foreign dance instructors will be held within the XI International Ballet Festival DANCE OPEN.

The master-classes will be held for three groups (depending on the level of participants): beginners, intermediates and advanced.

A huge cultural programme is prepared espessialy for the participants from other cities and countries.

DANCE OPEN Festival held a huge charity programme for children from the orphanages. It tooks part in charity projects for more than two years.

Within the project “Little traveler” organized by the social movement “Our children” (“Nashi deti”) DANCE OPEN provided transport for children to go to the Dolphinarium, Oceanarium and Zoo.

01/08/2011 - The Finnish audience has voted with their feet for DANCE OPEN

On July, 30th 2011 in Savonlinna (Finland) with enormous success has passed gala concert of festival of ballet DANCE OPEN. It has finished VII festival of ballet of Savonlinna.

Ballet solist from Mariinsky, Biolshoj and Mihajlovsky theaters as well as the dancers from the Berlin opera and the Boston ballet acted on a unique wooden scene which is built in a court yard of an ancient six-centuries old fortress of Olavinlinna.

DANCE OPEN festival together with the JSC “OASIS” held a huge charity programme for children from orphanages of the Leningrad region.

Within the project “Little traveler” organized by the social movement “Our children” (“Nashi deti”) DANCE OPEN provided transport for children to go to the Dolphinarium, Oceanarium and Zoo.Due to DANCE OPEN there were organized 42 tours – 867 children had opportunity to visit different places of interest of St.Petersburg.

19/04/2011 - DANCE OPEN is in the Top 10 festivals!

British newspaper The Independent named DANCE OPEN in the Top 10 best European festivals of that spring. This St.Petersburg ballet forum is at the same level as the Liszt 2011 festival in Germany, Guitar Festival in Barcelona, 45th Brighton Fringe Festival. According to the same rating DANCE OPEN scale could be compared with the grandiose Museums at night in England (13-15 May) and Budapest Spring Festival.
