At the Konstantin Sergeyev night, besides video-chronicles, and performances of the main roles from his repertoire, it is very important to emphasize that in today’s ballet word everybody knows the expression “Sergeyev’s Sleeping Beauty”, “Sergeyev’s Raymonda”…Sergeyev’s revivals of Petipa’s ballets are made with such care and love. Excerpts of these choreographies show very well a huge contribution of Konstantin Sergyeev into the contemporary choreography. On top of that, being the director of the ballet school, Konstantin Sergeyev gave his students classical ballet and actor’s classes.

Also, the organizers are planning to include into the program a choreography performed by the students of the Vaganova Ballet Academy, and also choreography when the stars of ballet and the students of the Vaganova Ballet Academy will dance together.

There will be performed the excerpts of the following ballets: Grand pas from Raymonda, Panadeiros from Raymonda, adagio from Cinderella (Sergeev’s choreography), pas-de-deux from The Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle.
